July Third Thursday.
Executive Committee Meeting. 5:30 at Theo and Stacy’s by the airport. No Public meeting in July
County Convention.
August 16. 10 AM. Site to be determined. All KCDP members and MDP members are invited to the convention. The purpose of the County Convention is to elect delegates and alternates to the State Convention which will be held in Lansing on September 6, 2008.
The purpose of the State Convention is to elect the Rules, Credentials and platform committees and to nominate the candidates for University Boards and Supreme Court.
Summer Picnic.
KCDP is planning a summer picnic. It is still in the planning stage but stay tuned for the date and place. It is time for all of us to have a fun, relaxing time before the hard work of the campaign.
