We would like you to join the Kalamazoo County Democratic party. Joining the KCDP is the first step to getting into grass roots community orgaizing for a Democratic agenda. Your participation is vital to creating a strong orginization that will in turn serve the interests of the people of Kalamazoo County and ensure Democratic representation in city, state and federal government. When you join the KCDP, you will have the following benefits and obligations:

• A copy of a book of all KCDP members, in which your name will be added
• Voting priviliges at all county convention meetings and general party meetings
• Eligibility for nomination and election to the KCDP Executive Committee, the governing body of the KCDP
• Eligibility for nomination and election to an officer position within the KCDP Executive Committee
• Special access and discount pricing to some KCDP sponsored events
• The oppurtunity to join and participate in KCDP Standing Committees

KCDP members also enjoy the pride in knowing they've become part of a party and a politics that works to serve all the people and are members of a community who work together for progressive change. Although anyone can join the party for free, we encourage all prospective members to select from the membership options ranging from the $30 Basic Single membership to our Sustaining Member levels at $250 for individuals and $450 for couples. Your membership dollars are what pay for the party's expenses and enable the good people of the KCDP to bring their message of hope and progress to the public. The KCDP can not accept tax deductable donations, and without collecting membership fees the party would not be able to do its work on behalf of the people of Kalamazoo. We rely on members like you.
